The surrounding conditions and orientation served as the fundamental guidelines for the project’s design. Facing the river, with a northwest orientation, the façade is entirely glazed; facing the street, which is only 6 meters away, only the minimum and essential openings were included. The result is an unobstructed view of the river from all the main living areas, featuring very spacious terraces, a swimming pool, a barbecue area, etc., with the garden alternating between gentle slopes toward the river and retaining walls and steep terraced levels.

The vertical circulation system is provided by the elevator and the main staircase, which connects the three levels: the garage, the reception area, and the bedrooms. Another staircase connects the same levels and serves the home’s service areas, and finally, a direct access from the basement to the ground floor in the kitchen and laundry area allows for the home’s supply by vendors who do not enter the rest of the building. Connections between the pool and changing rooms, and the dock and storage areas, are also made from the basement.

The structure is a hybrid of reinforced concrete and steel columns integrated with metal joinery so as not to obstruct the expansive views of the river, the boats, the pool, and the garden, where retaining walls accommodate the gentle slopes and unevenness of the terrain, accentuated to form terraces.
