This project arises from the renovation and expansion of the old Stock Exchange building designed by architect Alejandro Christophersen in 1916, which is preserved and flush-aligned while respecting even its setback.

This is a construction where the integration into the urban fabric stands out. It is located on a lot between adjoining party walls — on one side the original headquarters and on the other the Comega Building — with frontage onto two streets: 25 de Mayo, where the main entrance is located, and Leandro N. Alem Avenue, where the building extends to the edge of the sidewalk, above the mandatory arcade. Both façades feature a significant grade difference that places the primary entrance at the height of a second floor relative to Leandro N. Alem Avenue.

The project was designed to house three differentiated sectors. The first could be considered on the 25 de Mayo street side, where the entrance hall to the Stock Exchange’s own facilities is located, as well as the third floor, which houses the large trading floor of the Securities Market — functionally complemented by the Pullman mezzanine — enriching the heart of the building. The second sector is the office tower, from the 5th to the 19th floor, facing Leandro N. Alem Avenue and spanning the full width of the lot, with a depth reaching the midpoint of the site, taking the profile of the Comega Building as reference. Finally, the third section comprises the parking garage, occupying from the third basement level to the first floor, distributed across nine half-levels with entry and exit from both 25 de Mayo and Leandro N. Alem.

The main entrance to the Stock Exchange is through a covered open-air plaza, enhanced by a reflecting pool and a sculpture. Additionally, on the ground floor facing the arcade, an independent retail space is located, separate from the rest of the building’s areas.
